Recognition tiers

There are three recognition tiers. They differ in how much of the document is read, not in how correct the result is — everything the AT QR code carries is authoritative in all three.

QR

Only what is in the AT QR code: the tax ids, the document number, the date, the ATCUD, the document type, the totals and the VAT split per rate.

• Fastest tier, because nothing has to be read from the document.
• Requires a Portuguese document with an AT QR code. Without a QR code there is nothing for this tier to read.

Main

The QR tier plus an AI reading of the document header and the parties:

• supplier and customer
• dates
• document number

The document's lines are not read individually. Instead, the expense is booked as one expense line per VAT rate, on the client's default expense product, with the description filled in. No new products are created in your catalogue.

This is the tier used for free recognition in the regular queue.

Main with lines

Everything in Main, plus the individual line items of the document.

Because the lines are read individually, this tier may create products in your catalogue — a line whose product is not in the catalogue yet is added to it.
