Base URLs​

The API is served from the OpenBanking application host; there is no separate api. hostname. All requests are HTTPS and JSON.

Steps​

  1. Request access. Contact MagniFinance with the Magni client your integration will act for. You receive an OAuth client id and secret for staging and for production.
  2. Get a token with the client-credentials grant and the openbanking.api scope — see Authentication.
  3. Connect a bank account with POST /accounts: the response carries the URL where the account owner completes strong customer authentication (SCA) at their bank. The account holds no data until that is done.
  4. Read transactions with GET /transactions?accountId=.... They are served from MagniFinance's synced store, so reading never consumes the bank consent's daily allowance.
Availability

The v1 endpoints are released but become usable per integration once its OAuth client is provisioned and bound to a Magni client. Until then every call answers 403 MissingClientBinding.

Conventions​

  • Dates are ISO 8601; amounts are decimal numbers with the account's currency.
  • Every error is {"error": "<Code>", "message": "<text>"} — see Error handling.
  • Lists are paginated — see Pagination.
